Unity LA Makes All the Right Moves at Dancerpalooza

On Thursday, Unity LA took to the Hall of Fame Arena at Dancerpalooza with a fast-paced and energetic evening filled with a whopping 27 pieces. Emmy Award-winning choreographer, Tessandra Chavez, who is the founder and director of Unity LA, also brought in guest choreographers to round out her work. From Tyce Diorio to Charity Anderson & Andrés Peñate, the choreography showcased the depth of work that is evolving rapidly in the dance industry.

Chavez, who recently received her second Emmy nomination for her work on Seasons 2 and 3 of World of Dance, proved she made the right decision to bring Unity LA back to the forefront. Watching "Pretty Wings" and the Emmy-nominated "Piece by Piece" live was a special experience for audience members. It's one they won't forget any time soon.

The cheers were also pretty loud for Sean Lew, who at 17 years old, has developed a mature sense of movement at such a young age. Take a look at some of his performances last night.
